Belgian Anti-piracy Federation
Do you appreciate a good movie, do you enjoy music and can you completely lose yourself in an exciting video game? Some people don’t realise that the creation, production and distribution of these types of entertainment are not free of charge.
It stands to reason that everyone involved in the process should be paid. When you copy and distribute films, you are cheating these people, who have been working on the development of this product for months and even years, out of their income.
Piracy costs the Belgian entertainment industry millions of euros every year. In addition, as a consumer, you are often the victim of copies; the product doesn’t work properly and there is simply no guarantee. Many risks are also involved when downloading illegal online files.
Our federation fights against the illegal trading or distribution of films, music and games, both in Belgium and Luxembourg.
If you require any information regarding membership with BAF, please contact us via the contact form or by phone: 02/463.15.10 (Belgium) or 022/480.85.87 (Luxembourg).
